This position is responsible for maintaining, modifying and repairing AC and DC electric motors and generators for some of the largest mobile mining equipment in the world.

Qualifications:

Journeyman ticket or interprovincial Red Seal HET
High quality mechanical aptitude
Mobile mining equipment experience is considered an asset
Good manual dexterity and the ability to pay careful attention to details
Must possess a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence and have acute safety awareness
Must have effective interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy while working with a variety of individuals and groups.
Third and fourth year Electric Motor Systems Technician apprentices are encouraged to apply.
