Retail Assistant Manager

As a Retail Assistant Manager for Skechers you will see what it's like
to work for an award winning leader in the footwear industry. Our Retail
Assistant Managers oversee the day-to-day operations and personnel of a
Skechers retail store. Your hands on retail experience will drive top
line sales. Your leadership mentoring skills will enable your staff to
sell off the wall, expand their product knowledge and enhance their
customer service. It goes without saying; a Retail Assistant Manager
has many responsibilities to successfully lead a store. Whether it is
recruiting, staffing, developing, training, coaching or managing each
assigned store's daily operations within budgeted goals and
expectations, we recognize the hard work and value our Retail Assistant
Manager's.

Responsibilities:

- Manages day-to-day store operations by ensuring all company
policies/procedures are followed and
that store wage and sales goals as well as operational expenses are
controlled or met as applicable.
- Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transaction
- Responsible for assigned Store exceeding Comp Sales (where
applicable) and Sales Plan
- Ensuring store's visual standards are met at all times by
ensuring the proper mix and proper depth
in key SKU's and by identifying store's needs by using and
analyzing vendor sales reports and/or
altering sales floor layouts (displays) and making recommendations
to SM.
- Finds new and exciting way to attract customers by reviewing
promo sign packages and making
recommendations to SM

Required Experience and or Education:

- A high school education or greater
- 3 years minimum retail management experience
- Hands on working knowledge of retail systems, human resources
best practices and operations.

Preferred Experience:

- Footwear background preferred
