A challenging opportunity exists in Fort Saskatchewan for an Apprentice/Journeyman Millwright. This position is open to internal and external candidates.

Profile: Reporting to the Supervisor, Maintenance, the Apprentice/Millwright will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of equipment and machinery in the nickel, cobalt, leach, utilities and fertilizer plants. This position will involve working on pumps, conveyors, compressors, gear boxes, agitators, large stationary engines and other general industrial equipment. Preference will be given to candidates who possess rotating equipment and shutdown experience.

Qualifications:

 Candidates must be interested in pursuing a Journeyman Certification, working towards a Journeyman Certification or hold Journeyman Millwright Certification
 5 years industrial experience
 Ability to work regular/periodic shift work
 Technical/mechanical aptitude
 Ability to work in a team environment
