Sharper Cards is a successful Calgary-based direct marketing company. For over 28 years we’ve provided unique personalized communication and promotional products to healthcare professionals and small businesses. We are currently expanding our brand into the Real Estate and Financial markets and are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive this sales initiative by outcalling to customers.

Responsibilities:

-Call out to customers to promote the use of Sharper Cards products and services in accordance with contact lists.
-Primary focus will be on developing sales in the Real Estate and Financial markets through generating leads and converting prospective clients into customers.
-Facilitate growth for our small business customers through consultative selling.
-Initiate contact with Sharper Cards customers as follow-up on sample/catalogue mail out requests.
-Anticipate and identify sales opportunities through account analysis and planning.
-Assess customer needs; enhance sales by increasing customer knowledge and awareness.
-Radiate friendly professionalism, courtesy, and etiquette on the phones and within the office, at all times in order to create the ultimate customer experience.
-Actively contribute to our company quality program through verification of all orders processed and meeting all personal quality goals.
--Assist with inbound call-volume as requested by manager.

Skill Set and Competency Requirements:

Education:
-High School Diploma; Post-secondary preferred

Experience:
-Outbound calling experience, preferably 3-5 years in a similar role
-Must have customer service and advanced consultative sales skills
-Knowledge of the Real Estate and Financial markets is an asset
-Experience in the printing industry or product sales is an asset

Skills and Attributes:
-Excellent communication skills; written and oral
-Superior ability to spell, proofread and verify data
-Ability to problem solve and think critically
-Above average computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
-Social Media knowledge; LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
-Networking and the ability to engage people in conversation
-Leadership skills and a motivating personality
-The ability to thrive in a competitive environment
-Effective use of consultative selling to assess customer needs and overcome customer objections
-Superior understanding of Customer Care and Quality; demonstrated
experience delivering top level service
-Creativity and entrepreneurial drive are assets
-Experience in the Real Estate industry is an asset
