Bookkeeper Job Description
We are a Burlington based company looking for enthusiastic, driven people to join our team at S&D Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping duties for a number of clients in a variety of fields. This position is full time.

Duties would include, but are not limited to:
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis
- Maintain accounts, prepare cheques, invoices, payments and deposits
- Oversee accounts receivables and accounts payable
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards, both Canadian and US
- Run and review aged receivable and payable reports
- Prepare month and year end financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare payroll, including employee cheques, reports and T4 summaries
- Prepare all government remittances, HST, ETD and WSIB
- Respond to customer inquiries and maintain customer relations

Skills Required:
- Must be very knowledgeable in both Quickbooks and Simply Accounting software
- Excellent knowledge of both Microsoft Word and Excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail when working under deadlines
- Able to take direction and follow instructions
- Possess superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Teamwork skills
- Able to set and meet deadlines
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- An interest in bookkeeping
- At least 5 years of qualified bookkeeping experience
- Must own a car to travel back and forth to clients
