We are currently recruiting for an Customer Service Coordinator.
This is a permanent full time position.

Position: Customer Service Coordinator

Reports to: Manager

Location: Brampton, ON (please note: facility will be relocating to Concord, ON in the fall of 2013)

Responsibilities:

Customer Service
Answer queries and advise ETA / Dock / Storage / Pallet Exchange
Schedule Appointments / Coordinate with Rail & carriers
Problem Solve - Customer Complaints / Issues
Service Drivers and handle paperwork
Handle billing inquiries and Accounts Receivables

Administration
Coordinate - Schedule/Appoint deliveries for MLB & CP/CN trailers for CRSA members
Coordinate - Schedule/Appoint deliveries with Armour (East Coast shipments)
Coordinate with Ryder Operations for scheduling units
Prepare & Submit Bond Documents
Track units on CP / CN website
Advise customer of delay / exceptions
Update Unix to reflect Trailer ETAs and monitor CP/ CN reports
Ensure timely deliveries with carriers
Ensure timely notification and return of empty marine containers
Manage Halifax dispatch report
Coordinate and Prepare Bond documents for Richelieu US Program
Update unix with every unit activity
Process & Coordinate co-load shipments / deliveries & Billing for CRSA members
Coordinate distributor deliveries for CRSA members
Maintain file for distributor deliveries and Non-Program freight
Monitor and invoice detention charges as necessary
Audit and process carrier invoices

Accounting
Audit Detention / Storage charges
Follow up on Accounts Receivables

Skills and Abilities:

Accurate, efficient data entry
Ability to communicate in a manner, which is, clear, effective, and respectful to all customers (internal/external) using most appropriate media
Excellent Customer Service skills
Detail oriented and good audit skills and attentive to exceptions
Time and Resource Management – Streamlines workflow/effective/prioritize
Proactive in addressing issues and maintain customer satisfaction
Multi-task efficiently and effectively with minimum disruption
Good organizational skills
Work in a fast paced demanding / time sensitive environment
Good Problem Identifying and Solving skills; seek direction and help as required
Good team player and contributes positively to develop opportunities for greater level of contribution

Knowledge:

In-house computer system data entry
CRSA/TCTL documentation
Sufferance standards/customs procedures
Rates and billing procedures
Customs & steamship procedures
Understand the quality policy of the company

Training/Education:

In-house computer system
PC software (MS Office, Lotus Notes)

Direct Back-up for: Freight Cashier

Assist and Complete designated job functions pertaining to other desks, under direct supervision of the supervisor
