The Rural Ontario Medical Program is currently searching for a new member to join our team as 'Rural Medicine Week Program Assistant'.
The successful candidate will be a diverse, team-oriented professional with adminstration skills. The position will require strong communication skills, understanding of rural and regional education in healthcare, community engagement, presentation experience, post secondary education and employment experience; proficiency in MS Office Suite, creativity, flexibility and the ability to handle constant change.
Position entails approximately 18 hours per week, various adminstrative and data-entry duites; book and confirm rural medicine week learner rotations, compose and/or prepare routine correspondence, forms and reports; some evenings/weekends. Because of travel, candidates must have their own transportation and be physically capable of setting up a display booth.
