Worker, Canada - 23 January 2018
Working with the company for years now. Little changes in terms of pay and absolutely zero room for advancement within the company. Aside from great coworkers, decent benefits, occasional bonuses, and decent pay, the company does very little to recognize or satisfy its workers in terms of human resources and general conditions on all levels. No amount of work you do comes with any reward or acknowledgement. A fifth of your vacation days have to be used over the Christmas break when the branches are closed, in which you have no choice but to not work. You get 0 sick days, so catching the common cold comes at the price of an entire day's pay. This is especially frustrating in the winter seeing as how heat was cut to half the building to "save on expenses". This is Canada afterall, that's the cost of operating a business here. As long as you keep busy and have a good team to work with, the job itself is okay.
