General Manager (Former Employee) – Bermuda – 11 August 2016
Enjoyable environment to work and great coworkers, definitely a team oriented workplace. One of the best pleasures is seeing the Owners and guests on a regular basis, almost like the feeling of being family.
Security Officer (Former Employee) – Menlo Park, CA – 18 September 2017
Irresponsible management, a lot of blame goes around rather solve the issue.Poor training and guidance. Play Politics. Top manager encourages to accept criticism for improvement BUT lower management indirectly retaliated for speaking up. Low pay considered nature of the work. Micromanagement.
Director of Crescent Club (Current Employee) – Dallas, TX – 25 May 2016
Great property and team, high volume food and beverage operation with a lot of potential for growth. Great opportunity to learn about a broad range of different specialties’ within hospitality management.
Great opportunities, good benefits, high profile people.
They really need a change in management for things to get better
housekeeping (Former Employee) – Dallas Crescent Hotel – 9 August 2015
This place really needs to learn to talk/treat their employees. I worked for the housekeeping department. They were very rude and think if they have a supervisor position they can talk to you how they want to. There was no respect .
Security officer (Current Employee) – Melno park CA – 16 February 2015
Provide training to staff and associates, walk the property. Provide new training to associates and staff. Develop safety goals for my team and develop training for all employees, maintain records of training
Hotel (Current Employee) – Santa Fe – 19 November 2014
Management needs to be more employee oriented, for example, they need to talk to their employees like adults, and not like we are children than need to be baby sat. Communication amongst employees could use some improvement. They need to hire management according to what experience they have, not by "who they know" within the company.
Meeting people who stay at the property, great guests that are not always so demanding
Poor pay for the work your required to do. Management
