In accordance with our company vision, mission, values, and our corporate and branch strategic plans, with special emphasis on creating and maintaining a superior service culture (to both external and internal customers), the following responsibilities entail the essential duties of this position:

To work effectively with the traffic management team to oversee the fleet and all Wendy’s delivery operations. To effectively and efficiently do all load planning for outgoing orders for our Wendy’s customers, ensuring proper cubing of loads. Monitor Roadnet System daily and update changes, additions, deletions to the customer base, and to properly handle special delivery requests. Assist with night pickups and ensure proper action if any need to be taken. Monitor and update Nova Time daily. Data entry required for reviewing and tracking efficiency of our drivers. Verify driver’s logs and DVCR’s daily and file. Assist in improving the driver’s efficiency performance by monitoring drivers daily in MobileCast. Assign equipment to runs for greatest efficiency and lowest expense. Assist in arranging all pickup and returns of rental units in a prompt manner. Other Traffic projects as needed.

Previous routing / truck dispatching experience would be beneficial. Previous knowledge and training in Roadnet 5000 would be beneficial. Knowledge of most of Southern Ontario highways and routes would be beneficial. Computer literacy needed (including Windows and MS Works). Ability to work in a time efficient manner while handling multi-tasking and priorities, as needed. Positive situation-solving skills, analytical skills, and decision making ability are required.

Sunday 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Monday– Thursday 11:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Must have a flexible schedule should the schedule need to be changed as directed by the Supervisor
