In accordance with our company vision, mission, values, and our corporate and branch strategic plans, with special emphasis on creating and maintaining a superior service culture (to both external and internal customers), the following responsibilities entail the essential duties of this position:

*Plan and schedule the appropriate modes of transportation and staffing based on daily inbound/outbound needs
*Utilize transportation software systems to facilitate material movement, routing, planning and scheduling and ensure accurate customer information, driver information, equipment information
*Schedule the appropriate service line based on each situation while keeping in mind cost effectiveness and customer service excellence
*Prepare and update daily schedules to ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers
*Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient relations with other departments
*Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators as directed
*Analyze service failures/issues and implement performance process to enhance future services

Minimum education required is a post-secondary education with preference given to those with a focus on Transportation and Logistics. Advanced Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required and familiarity with RoadNet Transportation Suite is beneficial. The successful candidate must have strong communication and organizational skills (verbal, written and computer), the ability to work in a time efficient manner while handling multiple tasks and priorities and positive situation-solving skills, analytical skills, and decision making ability. The successful candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Saturday 7:00am-7:00pm
Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/ 12:00pm-8:00pm
Must have a flexible schedule should the schedule need to be changed as directed by the Supervisor
