Our Food Service and Catering Manager is responsible for successfully running the food service operations at the Rosebud Mercantile. This is a full-time temporary (6-month minimum) contract with the possibility of it becoming full-time permanent. Reports to the Executive Director.
Duties: Management oversight of all food service at the mercantile, involved in all phases of the operation, planning and expenditures, budget costing, staffing and scheduling, manage multiple projects including off site catering, work with all levels of management to ensure timelines and quality.
Qualifications: 3+ years Food Service management experience, previous experience as Executive Chef, Catering Manager, Culinary/Food Service management, ability to control food and labor costs, strong motivator and mentor, detail oriented and strong team player capable of thinking on your feet, excellent communication and decision making skills, can accommodate flexible work schedule, ensure high standards for both food and customer service.
Assets: culinary background, ability to adapt to current trends, good computer skills
