Rogers Business Service Delivery Team is recruiting Business Service Consultants. In this role, you will be the trusted Consultant and provide service and solutions to small and medium business customers, assisting them by providing full account management. This includes on boarding, sales, servicing, billing and maintaining relationship.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional business approach while listening to customers, analyzing their needs and offering recommendations and solutions. Provide solutions to business customers using consultative approach; enable them to meet their objectives and be proactive in anticipating and finding solutions to their future needs by owning each customer interaction from start to finish.
Provide high-level needs assessment and when needed, liaise with sales or tech-support or other cross functional counterparts to better understand before providing solutions and approaches and conduct meetings/conference calls with customers when required.
Know Rogers business and customers' industry. Stay informed and research to be in a better position to offer what is best for the customer based on their unique needs.
Assess the urgency level of concerns raised by customers and take necessary decisions independently.
Identify call trends to help create efficiencies and accordingly escalate to the appropriate teams to improve process and productivity within the business operations.
Contribute new ideas and leverage past business experience to positively contribute to team, department and company.
Demonstrate high performance by living the business values on a consistent basis.
Able to adapt to a fast paced business environment and comfortable in managing changes to work, processes, systems and technologies.
Grow business customer base by being proactive in introducing and selling new products and service solutions based on the customer's needs and sharing information on choices customers may not be aware of.
Identify trends, flag growth and retention opportunities and determine appropriate action plan.
Work together to meet individual and team-based performance objectives by leveraging shared best practices (i.e Be open to feedback / peer coaching etc.)
Completed high school diploma or higher;
1-3+ years of experience preferably in a business-to-business telecommunications environment.
Experience with sales (Consumer or Business) would be an asset
Highly motivated and proactive individual who is able to work independently
Up to date with telecom industry and market trends affecting all types of business customers
Strong relationship building skills to manage and grow Rogers relationships with businesses
Strong communication skills (in English and French) including verbal and written communication.
Excellent organizational and time management skills - strong ability to multi task and manage multiple priorities.
Make sound business decisions based on analysis, problem-solving, experience and judgment.
Negotiate skillfully and diplomatically. Secure mutual agreement and communicate understanding of the value proposition/solution.
