Consumer Inside Sales
Consumer Inside Sales Representative (Current Employee) –  Ottawa, ON22 June 2017
This place is one of the most depressing and negative places I have ever worked For.

There is so much bad vibes that it has such a huge turnover rate and people wont even stay for more than a month.

The compony keeps on changing and it screws over its employees.

They benifits where changed to save money yet the company makes an even bigger profit.
Pros
50% off services.
Cons
Everything...

Dishonest Management
Direct Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Kitchener, ON22 June 2017
The management of the company does not care about the employees or the customers. Their policies are designed to squeeze as much productivity out of both as possible in terms of revenue. I have no problem with this, my issue is that they refuse to admit that. they will tell you to 'put the customer first' despite policies clearly designed to exploit them. If you can 'read between the lines' and figure out what management really wants it's not a bad job. If you desire an honest and open work culture; avoid at all costs.

Post-Sales Support Group (Former Employee) –  Moncton, NB20 June 2017
Really enjoyable work environment for a contact center. Management is supportive and there is plenty of room for advancement and additional training. The company is very involved in community service and the local community. They care about work moral and will plan fun events multiple times a month. Very good when sticking to labor laws and the company policies very fair. Amazing benefits! Medical coverage from day one, Share Accumulation plan, retirement savings plans, paid vacation, sick days. They train you very well for the job you will have.
Pros
Great benefits, company policies are fair, advancement opportunities
Cons
possible late hours, occasional restructuring

Horrible Environment
Jr Team Leader/ Service Agent (Former Employee) –  Ottawa, ON5 June 2017
Not the greatest place to work if you are ambitious and looking to climb the ladder, so to speak. The experience you gain however is incredible. You learn quickly how to work around incompetent management in order to actually assist and help customers that have been having issues with Rogers. You learn how to handle people from all walks of life. Patience and problem solving skills will certainly increase. Essentially what i am saying is, you will learn a lot from this job, what kind of job to not get in the future that is.
Pros
Money
Cons
Everything else you can imagine

The culture poses a huge challenge to fit in this organization is more about who you know vs work delivered and difficult to remain engaged. If you have not been Rogers for a long time you do not belong at Rogers
