We are looking for an experienced HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) Service Solutions Sales Executive / Account Executive to fill a direct-hire job opportunity in Vancouver, British Colombia. Our client is an award winning diversified technology firm and a leader in the HVAC and Energy Management sector. The firm provides quality products, and innovative services and solutions to optimize energy and operational efficiencies of buildings spanning commercial, institutional and industrial building sectors. The company is uniquely placed to assist major building / facility owners (with multiple building assets) with the full range of building energy management solutions and employs some of the best technical experts in the sector.
Currently an opportunity has arisen for an HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) Service Solutions Sales Executive / Account Executive experienced in selling HVAC service solutions and preventative maintenance agreements to commercial building owners within theBritish Columbiamarket place. This role requires a technically proficient sales professional with excellent client relationship building skills who welcomes the challenge of developing new customers as well as managing existing accounts, maximizing selling opportunities and driving customer retention. The preferred candidates will display a strong ‘hunter mentality’ with the passion to develop new business and who is confident in their ability to make cold calls and attend client meetings.
The HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) Service Solutions Sales Executive / Account Executive Job responsibilities include:
*Liaise with existing base of assigned customers and build business relationships that translate into Service contract renewals and expansions
*Prospect for and achieve quota of new and renewed HVAC Systems related service contracts
*Create Service related solutions for new and existing customers that include mechanical and electrical equipment, Building Automation Systems, Boiler and Chiller Plant Systems, Energy Analytics and Monitoring Services
*Collaboratively work with National Accounts to create strong Region based relationships that provide the business environment for expanding their service offerings
*Support National Accounts in acquiring new accounts or expanding business relationships utilizing your market or technical expertise or customer relationships
*Prepare proposals and estimates for tenders. Work with internal service team for service solutions development
*Strategically manages multiple decision makers and influencers internal and external to your customers to achieve the sale
*Develop and executes an account specific business plan to identify short and long term opportunities for increasing the share of customer service spend
*Successfully manages and balances a portfolio of business opportunities through an identified sales process
*Provide forecasts and updates to the Customer Relationship Management Systems according to planning and forecasting requirements
*Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with assigned customer base through the providing feedback and positive change management with team members in Service
*Understand a chosen vertical market’s driving business needs and translate those into compelling events for customer to choose services
*Identifying and cold calling on prospects within the Designated Markets as well as with existing customers
*Sales activity to achieve new sales in excess of $2M
*Achieve High customer satisfaction levels
*Lead internal processes for project review and turnover to operations once the contract is signed / resigned
*Attend Trade shows to support marketing efforts
*Flexibility to work outside normal hours as required
Requirements for the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) Service Solutions Sales Executive / Account Executive Job:
*College or University Degree in Business or Technical Field
*Minimum of 5 years of experience selling HVAC services and solutions, including HVAC preventative maintenance services to commercial building owners
*Solid Technical knowledge with regards to HVAC equipment and solutions
*Strong knowledge of the HVAC service sector
*Highly confident in cold calling and new business development
*Strong account management experience with the ability to cross sell
*Excellent client presentation skills
*Experience in developing winning business development proposals
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
