OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Location: Rocky Mountain Environmental – Richmond, BC
Reports to: President
The Sales Representative will be based in Vancouver, and will be responsible for driving and growing new business revenue in Greater Vancouver. This sales position requires a proven sales ability, skill for closing sales, and the ability to build key relationships.
An exceptional ability to gain new business and develop relationships;
Plan and perform sales and cold calls to meet new business development goals;
Supply clients with requested information, including product solutions, services and technical information;
Prepare quotations and proposals as required, and follow up to track successes and failures;
Provide contact reports, weekly progress reports, and monthly/quarterly sales plans;
Maintain knowledge of relevant environmental criteria and guidelines;
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Entrepreneurial, Highly energetic and dynamic;
Exceptional interpersonal and sales skills;
Self-motivated and able to work independently;
Excellent organizational skills;
Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal;
Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, contact databases
Knowledge and experience of the sales process is an absolute requirement
Minimum 2 years work experience focused on environmental (preferred) or safety/industrial;
Valid, clear driver’s license and use of own vehicle for local travel.
