The Bed/ Winch Truck Driver drives and operates a Winch Truck equipped with a flat deck, winches and pulleys that are used to load and unload frac tanks; or with the use of a float (flatbed trailer) to pick up, transport and unload oil field servicing or drilling equipment including but not limited to open top tanks, reverse units (pump units), power swivels, pipe racks, catwalks and base beams, from and to various locations within the work area. This equipment is loaded and unloaded onto the truck or float with the use of the truck’s mechanical winch. All duties of the Winch Truck Driver are to be performed according to Rockwater operating procedures in order to maximize the safety of all personnel at the work site and to efficiently perform the task.
-Must have basic knowledge of oil field and related equipment
-Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
-Valid Standard First Aid and H2S Alive training certification
-Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service
-A commitment to safety
-Required to work in all weather conditions
-Possibility of exposure to flammable substances such H2S, C02 SO2, etc.
-Work “on call” as required
-Long periods of driving, standing, crouching, lifting and bending.
