Product Manager, Automotive Aftermarket

The Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Division markets a wide variety automotive
parts. Products include spark plugs, wiper blades, filters, alternators, starters,
gasoline and diesel fuel injection components and more. The division is committed
to developing innovative products to ensure that motorists get premium performance
products to keep their vehicles running like new.
The Mississauga distribution centre handles all distribution within Canada for the Automotive Aftermarket, Bosch Power Tools, Skil Power Tools, Dremel/Rotozip and the Security Division of Bosch.
Responsible for product related marketing support and product line gross profits for
multiple product lines within Bosch Automotive. Prepare the annual Bosch Product
Marketing Plans by product line.
Develop and implement product line strategy including positioning, pricing,
promotions and monitors and adjusts plan as necessary.
Provides direction on sales planning, forecasting, and inventory levels.
Works with Marketing Manager and assists in the creation and execution of all
promotional activity related to the product lines.
Works closely with and assists the sales team in key account business plan
implementation providing goal setting standards, assists in product segmentation
and provides direction to various initiatives including promotional activity planning.
Manages the pricing and profit margin for product lines and analyzes special price
requests from customers/sales force and monitor price developments and initiate
price changes as required.
Monitors competitive activity maintaining a library of competitors' catalogues and
price lists. Updates the SWOT analysis on Bosch and competitive lines.
Coordinate product packaging initiatives to ensure compliance with Canadian
Federal Packaging Laws.
Responsible for updating and preparing the price lists and other sales literature of
new and existing product lines.
Prepare materials and participate in Trade Shows etc.
Manage budget spending while driving revenue through the development and use
of sales materials and push-pull strategies.
Your competencies and qualifications:
Graduate of a Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in related field
3 years of relevant Product Management/Marketing experience
Highly motivated, detail oriented, energetic, self-starter, organized
Excellent PC skills, specifically MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
