Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre is currently recruiting for a .8 FTE, Executive Assistant. Reporting to the Executive Director this position will provide a variety of confidential and other administrative tasks for the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. This position will also be responsible for payroll, accounts receivable, management of social media sites, answer multi line phone system and assist with human resources, fundraising and budget preparation.
Grade 12 plus successful completion of an approved diploma program in bookkeeping and or accounting and/or business administration
3 years recent, related experience, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Current, valid class 5 B.C. Drivers License
Current, valid Level One First Aid Certificate
Proficiency in Simply Accounting and MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point , Publisher and ADP payroll
Ability to research, analyze and effectively resolve problems, including inter-personal and technology related.
Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize competing demands.
