With Ricoh's current machine offerings they will never compete with Xerox in the production environment. You can only string so many plastic machines with a life expentancy of 30 Million impressions together to try and compete with machines that are designed to be reliable in a 24X7 environment. True production equipment can produce 3 to 5 million impressions a month per machine. At this time the best they can offer is a machine that needs service every 500k. Not a great fit in the real production world.

This company still has Ikon's mentality towards employees which is work hard and perfectly so we can fire you later to save money to cover bad business deals and still keep our comissions. You are, however, allowed as much time "off the clock" as possible so you can work for free.

You think it was bad where you were? I can guarantee AR was worse. I've never seen such unmitigated garbage and disorganization in my life. Supervisors and management were wholly incompetent, and no two people were ever on the same page about any given company policy. By far the worst job I've ever had.
