We are currently working with a global, publicly traded staffing company to source a Business Development Representative for their Regina office. That person may just be…YOU!
We are looking for someone who really enjoys the challenge and rewards of New Business Development. You would be reaching out to businesses in Regina and surrounding areas to locate the need for employment services. We are looking for your talents to build relationships from “hello” all the way through to a close. You will be supported by a recruiting team who will fill job orders while you continue filling the sales pipeline.
You will be connecting to decisions makers at all levels, up to the C-level with a consultative sales approach that extends beyond one opportunity through to repeat sales.
o Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for New Business Development.
o Construction and management of a targeted sales funnel that focuses activities on prospecting calls, appointments, proposals, closes, and coordination of new customer starts
o Use a consultative sales approach to build a business pipeline, grow trust, build relationships.
o Identify key decision-makers; develop communication plans; conduct marketing calls and effective client visits; develop and maintain sales plans and records; maintain product and service information; conduct periodic account business reviews to ensure customer needs are being met or exceeded
o Plan and execute sales by: preparing and delivering proposals to customer decision makers that address and meet customers’ needs; co-ordinating sales calls with others and keeping appropriate parties appraised of status of sales; effectively closing deals that benefit the customer and Kelly while achieving sales targets
o Expand the business by meeting with customers regularly to identify additional business opportunities or changing needs
o Take advantage of internal resources and sales information system
Requirements & Competencies:
o A minimum of five (5) years overall business development experience (including disciplined cold calling and lead generation experience).
o A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a business-to-business metrics-focused sales role, with proven skill at consultative selling of complex solutions to multiple stakeholders
o Exceptional ability to identify, analyze and effectively communicate customer needs
o Superior presentation, influencing and negotiating skills
o Ability to plan and organize in complex, fast-moving and competitive environments
o Self-directed and professionally curious individual, with demonstrated success achieving and exceeding territory-based targets and metrics
o Proactive problem solving skills, relationship building and effective consultative selling skills
o Results oriented, resourceful, team player, positive attitude
o Maturity, sound judgment, leadership presence and credibility, strong business acumen
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Computer and technology literate
o College diploma or university degree in business or related field preferred
