The candidate would be responsible for analysis and deliverables on new business initiatives and strategies as well as:
Working with business unit sponsors to understand business challenges and goals and when needed define future state
Defining and documenting business problems, limitations, broad business needs, and gain agreement of all stakeholders
Assisting in the measurement and prioritization of problems, limitations, and requirements
Contributing to strategic planning activities
Developing business cases supported by detailed cost benefit analyses and alternatives considered
Analyzing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
Generating alternative options and logical solutions (target state definition, policy change, system etc.)
Providing recommended option and articulate the final business expectations.
Assess change management requirements and make recommendations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
At least 4 years demonstrated working experience in the Financial Services industry
Post-secondary degree/diploma in a relevant business discipline
Proven proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products – Word, Excel, Power point, Access, Visio
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Demonstrated experience in business needs and strategic analysis
Ability to develop, maintain and manage relationships at various levels within the Company
Proven leadership skills with strong decision making capability and judgment
Demonstrated analytical ability with a focus on detail and accuracy
Must work well under pressure working to deadlines and prioritizing multiple projects
Completion of CSC and IFIC are desirable
