Reporting to the Manager, Global Rewards Delivery & Support, the Global Rewards Partner will work closely with the Business Unit Organizational Development Team to provide Global Rewards support to the Business Unit aligned with Corporate Global Rewards Strategy and objectives. The incumbent is considered the Global Rewards subject matter expert for the Business Unit. They will also provide insight to the Global Rewards Corporate Team on Business Unit needs to support design, strategy and development of Global Rewards initiatives that will best support the Business Unit.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
You'll coordinate the delivery of all Global Rewards programs and initiatives applicable to employees in the Business Unit, including the Annual Compensation Review Program for the Business Unit; includes coordinating training, dealing with questions/issues from managers, schedule for the Business Unit, and data issues.
You'll provide communication and training to Business Unit Organizational Development Team, Business Unit leaders and employees on Global Rewards programs; respond to Leaders and Business Partners inquiries related to Global Rewards Programs.
You'll monitor pay related activity within client group for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices. Ensures existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration are adhered to and recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve problems; Performs periodic audits to compensation related data specific to the Business unit.
You'll support the job classification process for the Business Unit; audit and consistency of role leveling and support Business Unit Managers and Organizational Development Business Partners in understanding need for new/changed jobs; assist with the role profiles creation; ensures that role profiles are kept up to date etc.
You'll develop Business Unit awareness through solid understanding of how each job and the Business Unit structure contributes to the Business Unit results and organization performance as a whole.
You'll participate in various projects related to RIM Total Rewards Strategy to attract, engage and retain talent.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
You have an undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline.
You have a minimum 3-5 years of experience in human resources programs preferably in a multi-national high-tech fast-pace environment.
You have experience in the design and delivery of Total Rewards programs.
You have excellent project management, analytical and interpersonal skills.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and you love to showcase your presentation talents.
