Job candidates require a minimum of 5 years experience in the industrial or construction sectors. A certificate in a Health & Safety related program or a Professional Designation (C.H.S.O., CSP, CIH etc) will be required. The Health & Safety Officer (HSO) will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project specific health and safety plans, perform hazard analysis of projects, and will perform site audits to ensure adherence to the health and safety program.
Successful candidate will be willing to travel across Ontario to perform work at each of our jobsites as necessary. Those with experience in the sandblasting/coatings industry or who have been involved with lead abatement projects will be given first consideration for this position. Certification to perform training will also be considered an asset.
