1To provide food and beverage service to all guests according to Renaissance standards.
2.To be familiar with all food and beverage menus, specials and promotions in Arriba, in order to assist the guest in their selection and promote the items.
3.To provide service to our guests in an efficient, friendly and professional manner.
4.To enter all food and beverage orders into Squirrel, point of sale equipment.
5.To maintain accurate guest checks, ensuring the check is properly acknowledged and signed by the guest.
6.To promote the use of all Hotel facilities and special promotions.
7.To follow and comply with Hotel cash handling policies and procedures.
8.To adhere to local liquor and health, safety and fire procedures and laws.
9.To make recommendations for improvement to either product or service in the Arriba.
10.To respond to guest concerns and solicit guest feedback.
11.To participate in the daily pre-shift meeting.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- At least one year serving experience in food & beverage
- Candidate must have knowledge of local health and liquor laws
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Knowledge of Squirrel preferred
- Knowledge of wines, beer and spirits a strong asset.
