Looking for a professional individual to join our team as a Registry Officer.

Position Overview

Registry officer assess customer needs and manipulate databases in order to process transactions in motor vehicles, vital statistics, land titles, personal property and corporate registries.

Responsibilities

Serve Customers, greet customers and offer services, identify services required, provide information, establish customers' eligibility,examine customers' documents, verify identities of customers, print requested service documents, review products with customers; access, navigate and work in appropriate databases, follow, review and explain policies and procedures, Understand and apply Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act & Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), adhere to employee and agent codes of conduct, handle payments and balance financial transactions

Demonstrate Personal and Interpersonal Skills

Present self as professional and friendly to customers, demonstrate good communication skills, work as a member of a team,effective time management; ability to work in fast paced environment, pay close attention to detail,

Qualifications

18 years of age or older, Police Information Check, high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma, speak, read, write and understand English

Working Conditions

Work in an office environment at a computer station, work with the public, spend a large portion of the day standing or sitting
