Kennel Attendant, Milton, Ontario - February 1, 2015
A typical day would be arriving at 6 am to feed the animals, wash out the runs, let them out for fresh air, playtime and then repeating the process throughout the day with grooming, laundry and cleaning the entire kennel during spare time. I learned how to properly care for the animals in a kennel environment as well as learning how to clean the runs and kennel building in a certain process. My co workers were hard working and easy to get along with. The hardest part of my job was during december, having to work outdoors in the harsh winter weather. The most enjoyable part of my job was getting to come to work and get to be around animals all day.
