General Responsibilities:
Reports to the Restaurant Manager and the Assistant Manager. He is responsible for the management and administration of staff during an assigned shift. He is an integrated member of the management team of the restaurant.
Assist the manager to maintain records of employees,
Assist the manager to establish the schedule of employees of the restaurant,
Assist the manager to achieve productivity goals (labour cost and food costs),
Assist the manager in recruitment, staff training, discipline, performance evaluation and supervision of work teams
Ensure that employees of the restaurant provide the best customers service possible,
Resolve all customer complaints with politeness, courtesy and efficiency
Ensure that sanitary procedures of the company are respected,
Ensure that the inventory is carried out and stocks maintained at an appropriate level in accordance with company policy;
Perform other tasks or responsibilities at the request of the manager
