Productive, fun place to work. Great Environment
Line Cook (Current Employee), Cranberry Township PA – March 7, 2013
Pros: you get discounted lunchs/dinners once a day, good hours, breaks.
In the mornings you start with preparing all the foods to start your day off with, and get all the equipment turned on.
I've learned a lot about burgers and how you can pair them with different ingredients.
Management could be better in a sense, but all the managers are awesome.
I don't believe there is much of a hard part of the job, except closing – more... and cleaning all equipment.
I enjoy my job and all the employees that work there. If its not a fun place to work, you wouldn't want to go to work everyday. – less

Busy Workplace
Hostess and Waitress (Former Employee), Everett, WA – March 4, 2013
Pros: learned people skills
As a waitress I learned a lot in communicating with all different people. And also how to deal when a situation arises when someone would become upset over something (food taking long, over cooked food, ect.,)

A company that is well rounded in development and putting their people first.
General Manager (Former Employee), Bolingbrook, IL – February 18, 2013
The company is very structured and cares about their people. The most enjoyable part of my job there was me talking with people every day and developing staff and watching them grow to the next level. I was in the people business, we just happened to be selling burgers and fries. I learned quite a bit moving up thru the levels of promotion and development. – more... Some of which is administrative and proffesional backgrounds but also how to manage different types of people in all sorts of situations. Ensuring the guest experience always is the best of my ability is a quality I pride myself in. – less

At the end of the day you would be very tired and worn out, but collecting tips made it all worth while.

Fun atmosphere, family oriented
Server/Bartender (Current Employee), Plainfield, IN – February 7, 2013
I love my job. I love interacting with people, making them laugh, and have a good time. I'm very good at what I do and I do as I'm told without an arguement. The management at this company seems weak to me, they tend to let employees do as they want. Doesn't look good to me when I'm trying to advance in my job. My co-workers don't get along often so – more... there is little teamwork. I try to motivate people when busy but no one seems interested. I'm at work to work, I work to the best of my ability when on the clock. The hardest part of my job is getting people to except me for me. I'm very motivated and try to do right at all times, some people aren't as work oriented as I am and they don't understand me. I enjoy my job. Making people happy is my job. I stand by that. – less

High energy environment with a lot of fun young people.
Server (Former Employee), Sioux City, IA – January 31, 2013
Pros: half off meals every shift
Short shifts, high tips, and fun coworkers. The hardest part was dealing with crabby customers. My favorite part was working with people who all like to have a good time- including the management. They always made fun games throughout the shifts to encourage everyone to succeed at their job.

Deleted Postings-Don't Work here
Manager (Former Employee), Colorado Springs, CO – January 22, 2013
They delete postings that state anything dirogatory about the 'unbrideled' experience at RR......

I say again do not apply to the Chapel Hills, CO. position you will regret it.
Unless you are an hourly employee, but even then you will get s(R3w3D

Fun place for a first job
Server (Former Employee), Palmdale, CA – January 15, 2013
Pros: first job at the mall. loved it
For a first job , i was very lucky to work at the Robin. I was young so it put extra cash in my pocket ,it was short hours normally fours hours and for a teenager i really did not want to work much ,but i always had the option of picking up extra shifts. Great staff and management which even after close to 20 years later we still talk. I built a lot – more... of friendships there. – less

porductive work place
Server (Current Employee), Vacaville, CA – January 14, 2013
On a typical day at Red Robin I would tend to tables in a 6-7 table section. I usually would be a night time closer, where I would check co-workers out before letting them go home. As a closer, I was in charge of checking sidework and making sure nothing else need to be done within the areas they were in.

My co-workers were easy to work with and fun – more... to interact with which always makes shifts easy to get through.

I loved being able to interact with new people. I also enjoyed teaching new employees since I was also a trainer for at least 7 of the nine years that I have been with the company. – less
