Everyday is busy. The old management was a lot better. The people are all very young. Lots of drama. You don't get very many hours.

Greeting guests, seating people, taking orders over the phone, taking reservations, setting up tables, assisted servers and managers.

Stress levels vary which can be frustrating due to a lack of consistency in the workplace.

I had a great time working for Red Robin. The staff made me feel welcome and if I ever needed something there was no shortage of offers to help from other team members and management.

A typical shift was about 4 or 5 hours and was very fast paced which made time fly by.

I enjoyed the fast paced-environment at Ruby Tuesday. I also enjoyed the people I worked with.

Red Robin was a positive environment for me to gain the skills I needed as a team member of this establishment. It taught me how to interact with customers and how to deal with problems if need be. I memorized the menu, was the fist and last person customers saw when leaving the restaurant.

This job can be very fast paced. Must be able to multi-task, enjoy working with the public, making money and have the freedom of an open schedule. The hardest part of this job was working on the weekend nights because of how fast paced it is. The easiest part was loving what you do and who you do it for.

I like going into work on a daily basis. It is a very fun environment with great people to work with.

Desirable job for a college student. High traffic of customers. Loved the scheduling, always left with money in your pocket at the end of the night.

The values of teamwork and leadership are the two main things I take away from working at Red Robin. The company sincerely attempts to instill these values and others (such as the Gift of Time, responsibility, etc.) into their employees. All of these values I believe I already possess but the productivity and the management (with very few exceptions) – more... make enjoying such an environment difficult. Certain managers at my location can be demeaning and rude and as I said, make it difficult to want to come to work on some days. The expectations of the employees are unrealistic to a certain extent and the pay does not reflect everything we are put through. If, and when, I ever get the opportunity to leave my place of work, the only thing I will miss are the people I work with. Even then, they are dropping like flies and new ones are being brought in with no sense of morale or responsibility for the values the company attempts to instill. The restaurant had a lot of potential; however, it fell far from it. – less
