Ready to join our team? Reporting to the Document Centre Manager, you will be responsible for working as a team member in a cross-trained print environment. You will be responsible for assessing, coordinating and processing a high volume and wide variety of print requests received through various sources within a fast paced environment. As a team member, you will be cross-trained in all operational aspects of the Document Centre and some administrative duties in order to provide the best print solutions, strategies and technical solutions in accordance with client needs. You will provide an advisory, training/consulting service to all Document Centre clients regarding the production of instructional and non-instructional printing requirements. You will also provide shipping and receiving of all supplies and materials associated with the needs of the Document Centre operation.
High school diploma or equivalent to about 12 years of schooling.
Completion of a 1-year college certificate, one year University or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years related experience
Must have a good working knowledge of computer software and hardware applications, networking and digital print production.
Must possess good mechanical ability and have knowledge required to operate all Document Centre printing and bindery/finishing equipment.
It is imperative that troubleshooting skills are available and applied in order to overcome any technical difficulties that may occur.
Must be able to work independently while within a team structure with minimal or no supervision.
Demonstrate very strong organizational skills, attention to details and multitasking capabilities.
Must be physically fit in order to provide Shipping/ Receiving functions, daily operation of equipment and overall requirements necessary to accomplish job duties.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all Document Centre staff and department users.
Position is Permanent Full Time
Wages: $44,520 annually plus benefits
