Are you an expert in accounts receivable and accounts payable? We are searching for an Accounting Clerk who has excellent accounts payable/receivable experience as well as experience doing general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end adjustments and accruals. Our client, an extremely successful organization located in South Edmonton, is seeking a motivated person to join their team on a temporary basis with the possibility of a permanent opportunity for the right candidate!
Specifically, the responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk will include:
- Performing AP, AR, financial reporting, journal entries, accruals;
- General accounting processes and ad hoc projects as required.
Ideally the successful candidate will have previous accounts payable/receivable experience ideally with some payroll administration experience. The ideal candidate will exhibit well-developed interpersonal skills and rapport building abilities.
Other desirable attributes of the Accounting Clerk include:
- Experience with computerized accounting/payroll systems;
- Large ERP system experience an asset;
- Previous AR/AP experience is a must with a focus on GL reconciliations, bank reconciliations, month-end adjustments and accruals
- Exceptional analytical, organizational and reporting skills;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
