Financial Manager/Director of Office Operations (Current Employee), Manchester, CTFebruary 20, 2013
Pros: 9-5 hours
Cons: benefits, current management
Hours are 9-5 which is nice. Real Estate market is not making much money especially with the drop in prices. Houses may be selling but not at their original prices.

Professional and large nationwide company great to work at.
Real Estate Agent (Current Employee), San Antonio, TX.September 30, 2012
Pros: escellent marketing tools.
Cons: no base salary.
A typical day at work at Re/Max is a self-managed day that gave me a pleasant tour of the city driving to a different home for sale every day, with different clients.

However, the hardest part of the job is when I got lost in the city trying to find a home for sale but with the help of a GPS the adventure improved in that area.

Usually, when a deal – more... went successfully trough closing, the hardest part seemed to dim away. – less

Front office scheduler, administrative assistant (Former Employee), Jacksonville Beach, FLSeptember 7, 2012
Pros: it was enjoyable to go to work
Cons: i was a part time employee prefering full time
answer calls; schedule showings, assorted administrative issues to handle, create, print and mail brochures,

Management were great - could not ask for nicer people, honest, good morlas, down to earth, whole offiice was like family

co workers were also as great as the management

hardest part of job - watching all the beach goers walking down the sidewalk – more... while I was inside on great beach days.

I learned quite a bit about what it actually takes for a realtor to actually make money to support a family and it is not easy or cheap

the most enjoyable part of the job was when an agent comes in and has a deadline, is not even half finished and they are suprprised to learn I have the knowledge, skills and experience to help with the project to make sure it got out the door before the deadline.

Helping people - that is what I enjoy the Most. – less
