I loved my job
Office Assistant (Former Employee), Memphis,TN – June 10, 2012
I would greet potential home buyers and educate them on propeties and different things we had to offer as a company. I learned alot about exterior or homes. The managment was awsome and my co workers were great. There wasnt anything hard about the job but i did enjoy meeting new people.

I was the admistrative assistant for 4 years and fired for no reason
Regional Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Monaca, PA – May 17, 2012
Pros: i loved my job.
Cons: i had none
I was an administrative assistant in the Monaca, PA office for 4 years, held "administrative assistant/first impression officer for a year. Ran not one office but also the Moon Township office which failed and they ended up closing.

I did nothing wrong but put out an email to the agents in my office regarding the fax machine and was literally screamed – more... at because it could cause panic???? Okay the fax machine was down agents, if you can get your clients to scan/email their items (technology people) or at least don't make a trip into the office.

I have all the paperwork and emails from my owner of the company and should have actually gotten an attorney for being "let go" for no apparent reason, just out of the blue after Christmas vacation.

I am a single mother of three kids depending on my income and I loved job and was blindsided.

A typical day at work was busy and you had to be able to multitask. I learned alot at the company because the real estate market is always a step ahead. My co-workers in my particular office were great. The hardest part of the job was learning a new accounting system and I enjoyed working at RE/MAX everyday because each day brought new beginnings. – less

At one time it was a fun place to work where the employess were valued.
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Denver, CO – April 27, 2012
Pros: exercise facility
Cons: job security
At one time RE/MAX was one of the best companies in Denver to work for. It was difficult to get in because so many people wanted to work there. They provided a very asthetically pleasing and safe environment to work in and an exercise facility. Also offered a 9/80 schedule. Offered great benefits until the real estate crisis 2008/2009. Then the lay – more... offs came and the whole company started to change. The environment no longer felt comfortable and benefits began to decrease. I would now rate RE/MAX and average company to work for. – less
