Very Helpful to the company
Broker/Owner (Former Employee), High Level, ABNovember 7, 2014
Pros: always had information that was required and needed, also felt that because i was a small company i was given the support at all times that was needed
Cons: had to pay for everything, the franchise fees where to high for a small company, the area did not require more realtors but they wanted more realtors to be working here, this is in small town rural alberta
Very good in responding to your concerns and come to see how things where going and to give helpful suggestion and tips with new realtors and very good education and up grading for helping the Real Estate Brokerage

Enjoyable place to work
Closing Co-ordinator (Former Employee), Flesherton, ONSeptember 28, 2014
Pros: flexibility in my work week
Cons: working with someone who does not like technology on a day to day basis
I really enjoyed working here. Everyday was a different challenge and since I love computer and multitasking it was the perfect position. I learned a lot about the real estate world and what it in-tells to put a offer or deal together and the logistics and legal aspects of it all. I had to relocate back to Barrie ontario otherwise I would of still been – more... there and made it more of a long life time career. – less

Recognizable Brand
Real Estate Salesperson (Current Employee), Port Perry, ONMay 12, 2014
Pros: great support staff
Cons: does not cater to newer agents
Working for RE/MAX means you have a brand behind you that everyone knows and trusts. The Port Perry office includes approximately 15 agents with individual offices and fantastic support staff. Management is in the office 2 days a week and also available via email. This office tends towards experienced agents and does not offer a training program for – more... new agents. – less

With Re/Max , you can get help building your business at anytime. The opportunity , education and experience are second to none.Re/Max strives to help their people succeed not only locally but worldwide. Your success ultimately comes down to you and if you are distracted or not able to focus on the hard work required to be a top producer , you will – more... not succeed but it won't be Re/Max's fault. The most enjoyable part of the real estate profession is the challenge and satisfaction for everyone when a deal gets done. The hardest part is relying on people to tell the truth and being forthrite about their wants and needs and getting quality leads. – less

Broker (Former Employee), Orillia, ONFebruary 19, 2013
Pros: the money can be great
Cons: there can also be a large gap between pay cheques
This is a slower pace type of work, but its a job that you will work 24/7. There is lots of down time in your day and most of your work hours are mornings with lawyers and working when the average person is off work. You work at your own pace and if you don't work hard, there is no reward. The hardest part about the job is that it does not just come – more... to you or fall in your lap. You have to work hard and stay working hard to make a living. The most enjoyable part about the job is the happiness that you will bring to someone when they find and complete one of the most important and biggest transactions they will have in their life time. – less

It was a fun work environment
volunteer (Former Employee), St. Albert, ABAugust 16, 2012
Pros: being outside
Cons: the heat
I got up early and had to organize each calendar for the proper house it needed to be delivered to. I learned better organizing skills and working under a deadline. my co-workers were great, the hardest part of the job was the weather. The most enjoyable part of my job would be being outside.

Very well run company
Broker in Charge (Former Employee), Mooresville NCNovember 25, 2014
Pros: the people and the location
Cons: the negative partner
Day starts around 9 am and winds up around 5 pm. Working with customers and contractors most of the day. Learned to work with others and accept disruptions and grumpy clients. The management on one side was great to work with, very friendly and easy to talk to, on the other side, I just had to learn that their wasn't much I could do but ignore the negative. – more... The co-workers were great at time and at other times a little difficult depending on what the atmosphere was in the office. The hardest part of the job was putting up with the negative thinking partner. Otherwise, I enjoyed working with this company. Always stayed busy, met lots of wonderful people and lacked for nothing to do. – less

Real Estate Agent (Former Employee), Chandler, AZNovember 24, 2014
Pros: control of work hours.
Cons: you could work seven days a week.
Set up showings. Write contract. Open escrow. Do inspections. Work with lender appraiser, title, inspectors. Close the transaction. I love to help people and especially finding their dream home. Sometimes not enough hours in the day.
