Our most important investment is in people like you.
Our business is people and their financial well-being.
Founded in 1962, Raymond James is one of the largest independent financial services and wealth management firms in the country. Our financial advisors – currently more than 6,200 – serve approximately 2.5 million client accounts from more than 2,500 office locations throughout the United States, Canada and overseas. In addition, we have business units engaged in banking and lending, asset management, and investment banking.
We have been recognized nationally for our community support and corporate philanthropy – winning accolades for our customer service, our work environment and our national leadership in support of the arts.
Shaped by core values of independence, integrity, conservatism and always putting the client first, Raymond James has been a different kind of financial services firm from the start. We were pioneers of holistic financial planning at a time when the industry was still dominated by brokers selling stocks. And today, we continue to uphold the ideals that have set us apart.
We believe in celebrating individual contributions and inventive collaboration equally. We believe in maintaining a dynamic, creative workplace with opportunities to freely transfer within the firm. We believe in giving back to the communities in which we live and work. And we believe our most valuable resource is people like you.
For financial advisors
If you want a firm that’s more partner than parent, a firm to work with and not for, then Raymond James could be your perfect match. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown steadily and responsibly into one of the largest non-bank-owned financial services firms in the country. So, we’re big enough to offer you powerful resources, but never so big that we don’t have time for what matters most: you and your clients.

Raymond James is home to a wide variety of successful professionals – from market analysts and financial advisors to operations managers and web developers. And with offices and branch locations throughout the United States and around the world, there's plenty of opportunity for an experienced professional like you to find a new place to call home.

There’s a wealth of opportunity to be found at Raymond James for bright, motivated students and young professionals – and a variety of career options, from finance to marketing. This commitment enables us to successfully embrace the diverse clients we serve and capitalize on the talents of all our associates. We are dedicated to an inclusive environment where differences are understood, respected and valued.
Employee Resource Groups
Our employee resource groups provide resources for the employees they represent, a forum for raising awareness and fostering improvement, and opportunities for networking and mentoring. These groups include the Rainbow Network, the Women’s Interactive Network (WIN), the African Heritage Network, the Veterans Network, the Hispanic Network, the Young Professionals Network and the Network for Women Advisors.
Human Rights Campaign’s Equality Index
Each year, the Human Rights Campaign publishes its Corporate Equality Index, the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices relating to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees. Raymond James has received high marks since our debut on the list in 2008.
To ensure our commitment to diversity continues to evolve and adapt, we’ve established the Raymond James Diversity Council. Council members are charged with implementing corporate diversity initiatives, representing employee group concerns and championing diversity throughout the organization.
INROADS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and placing talented, underserved youth in business and industry, and preparing them for corporate and community leadership. Raymond James supports the organization by providing internship opportunities for high-potential undergraduate minority students. During the internships, participants are evaluated for continued sponsorship and potential long-term recruitment. – less
