Very professional

Pros: very work oriented and willing to train you to be successful

I learned how to operate different machines and it was easy to get along with all my co-workers. The hardest part of the job was all of the little cuts you would get, but is expected with working with sheet metal. The job allowed me to meet other individuals and learn different cultures and ways of life.

Pros: availability, good management, nice team to work for

Cons: no enough work to go around, working today but tomorrow not promised

My typical day
- unpredictable, I am not sure where I will be placed and it is not all the time. I have probably worked in one out of the assignments I have had more than once.
- Its a challenge working for an agency, some companies will hire depending on the work performance but in the other hand they choose who they feel comfortable with.

Their job pay rate is something unlike I have ever seen. You could be working a 2 day assignment making $10.00 an hour to being put a different job the next week for the same amount of time making $8.00 an hour. They don't really pay you what the job should be worth. They also don't pay for holidays without working you over 1,000 hours.

A employment agency that was usually there when I needed them.

They would get me into places, and the rest was up to me. In South Florida and Virginia their service was great, always plenty of available positions, would call and inform me of new spots that might be a better fit for me. But here in chicago, they operate more like a regular employment site where you have to apply to different businesses and pray – more... to here back from someone. No problem putting in the work, just not the usual performance I would get from their agency. – less

I worked at my job as a temp so I really wasn't apart of the activities

Pros: we work alot of over time we take an extra half an hour for lunch

Cons: we are allowed 2 fiteen minutes breaks

Well a typical day at work, I was working in an order processing department, I all ways check my emails when I first arrive to see if I have gotten responses that I was waiting on from the previous day, I complete the hold orders before moving on to a new order. I learned that no Sales Rep's handle there accounts the same missing items, back and forth – more... emails all day regarding the same issues. My co-workers are very nice we all got along work well as a team.
The hardest part of the job we have a system problems, the system shuts down, and we loose a lot of work and I have to input the work all over again it take a lot of time. The most enjoyable part of the job is when my order is complete and outbound for delivery. – less

Pay higher than most and a lot of turn around

Training is very basic, the support system is not one to set employees for success, is more like a survival the first few weeks. Employees are scrutinized on performance constantly, there is a lot of turn around because there are few sick days only for fulltime employees and no leniency on personal emergencies.

the worst staffing company in Tampa Florida

I started with them Feb, 28 2013. They put me to work and shortly after I had been working, I had what I thought a heart a tack, I Had to stay in the Hospital for 3 days
and later to find that I had a heart disease, and could've died from it, and they told me that they had to let me go, becouse I missed to much work, so I was penalized for being in – more... the hospital. Don't work for this Staffing company you will get your you know what handed to you.yours truley .I am also sending a letter to the main head office as well. – less

Randstad hires temps mainly and work off a attendance point system. As I'm sure their sympathy was with you the companies they hire for will require termination if someone misses too many days regardless of reason and many times its the company they hire for that requires termination after 3 points. While I'm sure Randstad hopes that you are doing much better they are required to follow the policy of the company that they hire for. As an internal temp staff of Randstad I have seen similar things happen but are not under our control. When these companies ask for staff for a period of time they need that staff there everyday.
