i worked in the staff cafeteria, setting up, breaking down the meal, doing cleaning. I can meet almost every staff in the hotel, and talk to them and learn something from them. Every manager in different department is professional. they arranged the daily work, staff rotation, every steps are very clear, easy to follow. I do enjoy the half and a year work there. – less

As the Assistant Director of Sales, we met each morning to discuss our occupancy and average rate for the night prior, outside sales, inside sales, site tours, and assist Director of Sales with Action Plans

My day at this property, would change nearly daily, between banquet preperation and managing the cooks for the restaurant. I leared so much from the Chef at this location, she was one of the best chefs i have worked under. The hotel being in a college town did have alot of turnover, but with a few veteran staff in each area of the hotel. The hardest – more... part of the job was the buisness levels day in and day out at this property it was always busy with weddings, corporate dinning events.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the comitment to do every thing at a high level that was served out of that kitchen, it was easy to take great pride in what we created there. – less

CLEANING ROOMS AND WASHING DISHES ON AN DAILY BASIS. ANSWERING SIMPLE QUESTIONS FOR QUEST. AND MAKING THERE STAY WITH US AS RELAXING AS POSSIBLE. MY JOB IS TO MAKE THE BEDS AND MAKE THE PEOPLE SMILE, LOL EVEN THE BOSSES TOO!

The owner of the hotel is so concerned with controlling cost that he loses the big picture. He would rather save a dime than drive sales and create a bottom line. He is not focused on any positives for the guest or the team and try’s to manipulate with waking around and handing out cash. I worked night shift so kinda slow and worked by myself which is okay cause i cleaned and stocked everything which are two of the things i enjoy to do anyways. the manger is a kind person that was always avaliable when needed.

I learned how to deal with irrate customers. A typical day a work would be to handle cash and credir card transactions. My co-workers were easy to get along with. The hardest part of the job was getting cars out of the garage on fast.

I started in the dishes,and moved to the line to prepare food.I worked from 9:00am to 10:30pm.I liked it very much just to cook.

The whole staff crew and management were great to work with.

Great work atmosphere, and very fun and energetic job. The managers and all employees are very friendly and professional.

At the Radisson where I worked, I was over worked and under payed. That being said, the other employees were really great to work with.
