1.Coordinating with suppliers based in India, Thailand, Canada, Taiwan, Turkey, Spain, USA for raw material to manufactures juices.
2.Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and lead resolution of materials/procurement issues with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional team members.
3.Establishing a central procurement service, Reviewing and implementing the procurement strategy.
4.Developing systems of control, policies and procedures relating to procurement
5.Liaising with relevant staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed in line with company.
6.Reviewing existing contracts and identifying opportunities for improved value for money
7.Reviewing service areas and potential supplier rationalization, providing guidance to relevant staff in all procurement matters
8.Identify vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, evaluate cost and quality of goods or services
9.Negotiate or oversee the negotiation of purchase contracts
10.Ensuring that legislative requirements are understood and incorporated into controls, policies and procedures
11.Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
12.Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
13.Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
14.Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials
15.Control purchasing department budgets, interview and hire staff, and oversee staff training.
16.Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
17.Specialized procurement knowledge of agricultural products and seasonal products from South Asian Markets
18.Analyse market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
19.Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
20.Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
21.Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
22.Establish and maintain necessary channels of communication with key customers and stakeholders; assure timely customer and Product Line awareness of potential material/supplier problems while providing recommendation for corrective actions.
23.Understanding of the complexities of manufacturing and assembly.
24.Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids.
25.Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials and supplies.
26.Prepare bid awards requiring board approval.
27.Prepare reports regarding market conditions and product costs.
28.Marketing of Rubicon & Shana products with ethnic wholesale distributors in Canada & USA.
Terms of Employment:
Permanent - Full Time (40 Hours per Week)
$ 73,000- $ 75,000 Dependent on Experience
