We are currently seeking energetic, motivated and career-minded Professional Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our team in the Calgary area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Customer Service excellence
• Act in accordance with all current RONA policies and procedures
• Ensure that deliveries are placed on site as per shipping and site instructions
• Aid in extra yard duties distributed by the shipping department supervisor
• Follow all traffic rules and secure all loads according to regulations
• Keep pace with daily fast paced delivery environment
• Ensure all loads are complete prior to departing delivery area
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• Deliver building materials in and around the city, and province in a safe and efficient manner
• Follows Rona/Totem’s loss prevention procedures
• Follow Rona/Totem’s policies and procedures
• Other duties as requested

Required:

• Demonstrate a high attention to detail and strive for accuracy
• Must have a valid Class 1 license with air
• Must have a clean driving record and a good overall knowledge of the city and Province
• Project a positive public image and interacts courteously with customers and co-workers
• Able to work on your feet in all weather conditions
• Candidates will be required to complete a criminal and credit background check
• B-Train experience would be an asset
