The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, and tax reporting for a portfolio of small business clients
  • Proactively serving every client, making sure that all filing deadlines are met
  • Always responding quickly to client inquiries and requests
  • Working with our clients to explore ways of improving their financial systems and provide more useful financial information, including key performance indicators
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 (Simply Accounting), Quickbooks, and other bookkeeping software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work well within a team setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and shift gears as necessary
  • Dedication and willingness to work extra hours when necessary
  • While most of the work will be in our office, candidate must be willing to do onsite work for clients as well
