Supervisor: Project Manager

Description: Turbine Installation Inspector will inspect the installation of turbines to support the project and client.


Inspect installation of all materials and equipment supplied by subcontractor to ensure that it meets the project design and industry standard criteria.
Inspect all turbine installations to ensure that the project and environmental requirements are followed.
Inspect and observe all turbine installations to ensure that proper installation is performed according to project design and conforms to industry standard work practices.
Ensure project work outputs comply with standards and meet contract requirements by working with the Turbine Installation Manager and technical groups.
Responsible to ensure safety requirements are met.
Ensure Quality and Environmental procedures are maintained.
Understand contract terms and ability to recognize discrepancies.
Accomplish any other job-related duties/functions requested by the supervisor.

Minimum one -two yrs of proven industrial experience inspecting work performed by subcontractors to complete the installation of large industrial/mechanical construction projects which involve the heavy lifting of equipment. Wind turbine installation experience is required.
Need expertise and the necessary skills to interface with the subcontractors and will be instrumental in delivering on time cost effective projects.
Ability to climb towers at least three to five times per day that range from 60-100 meters.
Ability to work outside on a daily basis in adverse weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, ranging from -30 to +40 degrees Celsius.
Ability/flexibility to travel for short and long term periods. Must live near the project for approximately nine - twelve months per project. Eligibility for per diem based on company criteria.
Valid driver license and is insurable. A Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check is required as part of background investigation.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Education: HS Diploma, Mechanical or Electrical Technical Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
