The Publishing Relations team at Quietly works directly with publishers and brands to improve their current workflow. Our publishing platform addresses the challenges of publishing in today’s digital world, allowing publishers to capture short attention spans, reach their audiences on the go - and on any device - and create new revenue streams with existing content.
We are looking for Content Creators to work with our various online publishing partners as a freelance contributor. The freelancer will be responsible for the following:
Creating and curating client lists based on content
Sourcing photos to accompany content
Populating current accounts to ensure content is fresh/relevant
Developing strategy for client accounts
Assisting in preparing content marketing materials and thought leadership—blog, newsletter, etc.
Skills + Qualifications:
Able to work under pressure, multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
Must be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of the publishing industry and digital publishing
Strong editing skills with special focus on detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and a great team player
Highly driven and enthusiastic
Strong internet research capabilities
Ability to work in a team, as well independently
Self-starter who can think on their feet demonstrating initiative
Nice to Have Attributes:
Multilingual - we love other languages
HootSuite University certified
Knowledge of SEO best practices, writing content for the web and link building
Knowledge of email marketing best practices
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
The candidate should be outgoing, personable, and professional. The candidate should also have a knack for getting things done, with an ability to manage several deadlines and schedules simultaneously. *Note: The Content Creator position starts out as a four month freelance opportunity with possibility of extension based on results/output. This job is to be done remotely.
