As I mentioned before, Questrade is definitely a great place to work. Plus, the people who you work with are very friendly and helpful. Managers are focusing on people management skills a lot. Employees' voice can be heard and recognized.

Questrade is definitely a place for young people just starting their careers. It's all exciting in the beginning until you realize you're taken for granted, not valued and are expected to work harder, take on more responsibilities and be okay with just a pat on the back.
There is a lack of transparency from the senior management team and this has caused a lot of turnover and resulted in employee dissatisfaction across the company.
The organic company culture that once was, no longer exists and most of the people I know there, can't wait to get out.
Advise to management- take care of your employees, invest in them and they will be loyal.

Questrade cares mainly about its image and how its perceived by external stakeholders.
Management is lacking direction and have to outsource help to figure out the business' mission and vision.
Treat employees like a cost to the organization, do not invest in employees whatsoever and forget about acknowledgement. The most you're going to get is 'thank you'- they wont acknowledge where it matters. Tend to spend money and resources on initiatives that don't matter.
Managers and Senior management are busy promoting themselves while the staff level doing the grunt work are least recognized. Pay across the entire organization is SO below industry average.
Huge turnover issue at Questrade and more great people are either being let go because of incompetent management decisions being backed up by HR or because they are not being recognized for their worth.
May be a good place to start a career, but unless you're not a manager favourite- you're going nowhere.

Mgmt needs to get their act together to determine companies strategy and goals. It is in a state of limbo and trying to do things that are unnecessary and ignoring things that require urgent attention. Hiring people when they do not know what to do with them, very irresponsible, and incompetent behaviour.

- the project I was helping with had typical days when the work involved was menial and boring and repetitive - dealt with other employees - I learned how to scan a variety of documents - my co-worker was inconsiderate of the work I was doing
They had excellent online communication between employees

Good place to work friendly people a lot of fun activities HR is great. Growing, a lot of opportunity for growth as opposed to other places ive been to. Not surprising to see someone get promoted within their probation.

Pros: Close to subway station
Cons: Employees average in their technical expertise, especially leads and directors. Crowded work space, like a beehive. Generally low salary, so if you are paid more than average your job is at risk.

Lovely people, great environment. Management were great and coworkers very friendly. Job itself was a bit repetitive so I didn't get the opportunity to learn much, pay wasn't so great, but it helped my get by.

A typical day at work had a monotonous routine tasks. I upgraded my skills with licensed courses. The management lacks experience and consistency. Young team of co-workers. The hardest part of the job was to keep motivated. The young vibe made it fun at times.
