Pros- Steady paycheck

Cons-No room for advancement, job security is a guessing game and employer will not give you advance notice before being laid off.

Quantum had purchased a division of Storagetek which I went with. A real eye opener at the time for me as to how a company teats their employees well. I went with the same team that I had been with for years so again it was a great learning opportunity to learn and define my education and career in Supply Chain Management.

Was a good place would still be working there if
Quantum had been doing better and did not have to do lay-offs.

I do not see Quantum surviving much longer with out being take over.

Workday is a company full of smart and dedicated people that work their butts off. I love coming to work and being around professionals that are willing to help each other and listen to each other.

Managed an inside sales team as well as a sales support team. built service revenues to over $12M annually.

10-12 hour days are the norm. Workers were great people. Best part of job was helping people so they understood how to do their jobs without injuring themselves.

Great organization and group. Challenging, flexible internship with opportunities to acquire new skills. Great management and culture.

Quantum is interesting to learn how the coating industry works. I enjoyed going to work each day. Management is dedicated and hard working.

Start of the day was answering phones, then data entry of projects,filing or process of projects. Date entry of information into reports or management.

My normal working day would start by checking in with my Line manager and then ringing the NVQ assessor I was assigned to and check if there was anything she needed for her day, as well to remind her of any appointment changes that had arisen.
