Pay is above average, work is routine & monotonous. Office is bland but comfortable. Unionized environment means there's little room for advancement for new employees. Managers seem too comfortable maintaining status quo and resist change.
The administrative assistant position at Purolator was an extremely important position that demanded you be self-motivated and work well independently. Although the position interacts with the Operations team on a daily basis, the admin assistant must be willing to work in solitude for much of the day.

Every summer this company hires lots of people to fill in for the summer rush.
They say how Purolator is one the best places to work and in terms of pay is one the best but the just lead you on to expect better things that never come.
Had a QA tell me over and over how amazing I did and to keep it up and next thing i was being let go.
Also during the Moncton Lockdown of last year when the 3 RCMP was killed they said that missing that day would not be held against you and to stay home and stay safe. When i was let go it was on my record.
Do not trust this company or rely on this job if you get it just enjoy the pay while you can.

Not very understanding of medical appointments, child care issues, or any causes that may require you to leave work. Hourly pay/benifits are good but you feel like a number not like a person with this company.
