Senior Web Developer, PHP

An international manufacturer of consumer goods is looking for an experienced PHP Developer with 5-10 years of development experience. If you are motivated by technically challenging projects, yet prefer the stability of a large and well-known company, this is an opportunity for you to consider.

*Participate in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing and deployment to ensure all work is to the highest standards

*Collaborate with the team of developers, as well as other in-house departments

*Take ownership and assume lead role for specific projects as required

*Participate in code reviews and technical quality standards within the project team

*Carry out automated unit tests to ensure a high quality deliverable

Skills & Requirements for Senior PHP Developer

*5-10 years PHP development experience

*Experienced developer with broad understanding of all the components of customer facing web applications

*Strong CMS skills

*Experience working with PHP frameworks, preferably Symfony

*Demonstrated understanding of mobile web applications

*Background in Object Oriented Programming

*Experience in UNIX environment

*Strong technical and communications skills, preferably in English

Location: Montreal, Quebec (free parking provided, as well as easily accessible by public transit)

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000, contingent upon experience + full benefits as of first day of employment; occasional flex hours, numerous perks
