Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician (Former Employee) – Colorado Springs, CO – 28 November 2017
No Review- I didn't work there. It would be nice if you had an option to opt out of the portion since I never worked here and cannot possibly review somewhrere I never worked. I sure the people there are very nice though.
Its been a long time since I have worked there so I'm not too sure of the benefits so I feel I wouldn't be much help rating this employer. Overall the employer was very nice very close nit with employees.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Former Employee) – Hazard, KY – 17 May 2017
As an employee at this pharmacy, I assisted customers, operated the cash register, answered the telephone, operated the computer, cleaned the pharmacy, ordered medication. The most enjoyable part of my job was the people I worked with. The hardest part of my job was counting the medication. It is mentally challenging, but I loved it.
Durable Medical Equipment Specialist (Former Employee) – Pennsburg, PA – 6 March 2017
Durable Medical Specialist. Responsible for assisting customers who needed medical equipment, whether it would be a brace (neck, leg, arm, etc.) oxygen tanks, etc. Also wrote up delivery orders for customers who needed medical equipment delivered. I've learned a great deal of knowledge about the medical industry. Professional Pharmacy was a great up beat business to be employee'd for. The hardest part was getting to know some of the customers and when they would pass, it was very difficult especially the people I would see daily. The best part of my day was seeing the regulars on a daily basis, they always brightened my day.
I only worked at Professional Pharmacy for a few months. Legend has it that not many technicians last that long and i unfortunately had to join that legend. I'd say somewhere around 10 or 11 am it starts to get busy. From that point on it can be non stop especially with the phone calls. They will drive you crazy when you're trying to concentrate on not messing up prescription orders. Some of the customers are pleasant but of course not all. Their clientele are older people with a few younger ones so it requires A LOT of patience. The staff although VERY stressed, are very helpful. Its about 7 people working together almost everyday including the pharmacist that works that day sometimes less. I'd say that was the most enjoyable part of the job, working with those characters. Even the drivers who make the deliveries are nice to talk to. In the end however the stress won.
Too busy, too stressful, older difficult customers, too many phone calls, too many phones period and i think they need a "phone tech" position.

Cashier (Former Employee) – Oxford, NC – 3 December 2012
A typical day at professional Pharmacy is a busy day, balancing back and forth from one customer to another one. My Co-workers were great to work with. The hardest part of the job probably would be trying to keep everyone extremely happy, the most enjoyable part was seeing the customers smile.
