Our client is an innovative, creative digital media agency with an office centrally located in the heart of downtown Montreal.
They currently have an immediate opening for an experienced Office & Accounting Administrator. This is a part-time role where you will be expected to work 2 to 4 days a week, depending on your preference and schedule.
Your role will include:
- Office management responsibilities such as ordering office supplies, providing administrative support, being the "go-to" person for any office issues regarding maintenance and administration.
- Filing, data entry, reception, travel arrangements and other related tasks
- Accounting functions such as: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, and helping coordinate payroll. You will work closely with an external accountant who will take care of the more complex accounting duties.
You'll be offered an hourly salary of $20 to $25 / hour, depending on your experience. You'll be expected to work 2 to 4 days a week (20 to 30 hours - your choice). Our client is very flexible regarding the work hours and will be happy to negotiate a schedule that works best for you. Once this schedule is agreed upon, these will become your fixed working hours.
We're looking for a candidate with excellent administration and accounting abilities. You will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, and be known for your friendly, helpful demeanor. You are someone who enjoys working with people and taking care of your team. You pride yourself on your excellent office management capabilities.
You will need to be fluently bilingual spoken English and French; your written English must be very strong and your written French should be at least intermediate level.
