This is for our client Company which was formed for the building, maintenance and operation of a Healthcare Project. The major construction phase of the project is completed and the long-term operation phase includes hard Facilities Management services for the newly constructed and existing buildings of the Healthcare sites.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the interests of Company and its shareholders in relation to the operational aspects of the project as well as ongoing projects. The Operations Manager will also act as Company’s Representative in discussions with the Fit-out Design Builder, the Facilities Management Contractor, the Client and its consultants.
Primary accountabilities for project and operations management will include: developing and managing client and stakeholder relationships; monitoring the operational performance of the project to ensure investment expectations are achieved in accordance with the financial model; ensuring operations are carried out to meet the contractual and functional requirements for the concession period; ensuring building maintenance and renewals are planned and procured; defining the long-term lifecycle plan and ensuring lifecycle expenditures remain within the financial model and the lifecycle plan; liaising between client and contractor representative to ensure compliance with contractual obligations; reporting on the project to shareholders and lenders.
-must include an Engineering Degree from a leading technical college or university.
-minimum 5 years experience in turnkey construction and maintenance of social infrastructure (e.g. healthcare, education and justice facilities).
-Additional qualifications in project management and contract administration will be viewed favourably.
